Age UK Southampton

Age UK Southampton runs a range of services including information and advice, that are designed to support older people in the city live independently, improve their health and wellbeing and combat loneliness and isolation.

Citizens Advice Southampton

We provide free, confidential and impartial advice and campaign on issues affecting people’s lives. You may have money, welfare benefit, housing or employment difficulties. You may be facing a crisis, or just considering your options. Our goal is to help everyone find a way forward, whatever problem they face.

CLEAR Project

The CLEAR Project supports asylum seekers and refugees in Southampton. CLEAR seeks to improve the quality of life of refugees and asylum seekers by providing free advice and supporting people to access local services. We believe in empowerment through education and in practical action to support the settled and developing refugee communities.

EU Welcome

EU Welcome provides information and support for arrivals in Southampton from the newer EU countries including Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Slovenia. We are able to offer help, advice and support for those speaking Polish, Latvian, Russian, Lithuanian & Hungarian.

No Limits

No Limits is a charity which offers free and confidential information, advice, counselling, support and advocacy for children and young people under 26 who live in Southampton and Hampshire.

SEND IASS

The SEND Information and Advice Service provided by The Rose Road Association aims to empower children and young people with special educational needs/disabilities and their parents/carers to make informed decisions about education, health and social care.

tEC (the Environment Centre)

We provide free information, advice and support over the phone, via email, at an appointment or a home visit including: help to access funding for heating repairs and replacements; temporary heating for those whose heating has failed; insulation measures; draughtproofing materials; energy bill worries, including Warm Home Discount and fuel debt; switching energy tariff or supplier; tackling condensation and mould; and signposting and referrals to other organisations such as: home safety visits and healthy living services.
